Detailed Itinerary

Xi'an

Day 1: Muslim Quarter, Great Mosque, Residence of Family Gao, Shadow Play

(We recommend you to arrive in Xi'an before 1 pm)
When you arrive in Xi'an, your private guide and driver will pick you up from the airport and accompany you to the downtown of Xi'an.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Great Mosque in the Muslim Quarter which merges traditional Chinese construction perfectly into the Islamic culture. Then You will scroll through the Muslim Quarter to find lots of local snacks and interesting souvenirs, and to visit the residence of family Gao, with Chinese classical architectural designs and exquisite decorations, it is representative of Chinese northern folk residences. You will even have chance to watch the traditionel chinese Shadow Play.
Afterward, you'll be driven back to your hotel and you can enjoy some free time for the evening.

Xi'an

Day 2: Terracotta Warriors, Workshop of warriors, City Walll of Xi'an

You will meet your guide at your hotel lobby, and then you will head to the world famous Terracotta Warriors (about 1 hour drive).
The more than 8,000 warriors that first Emperor of China, Qin Shihuangdi once built to protect him in the afterlife are now the most famous landmark of China after the Great Wall.
The highlights are the three pits and the Exhibition of Bronze Chariots, the Pit 1 is the largest one containing at least 6,000 terracotta figures in battle formation, the the Pit 2 is the most spectacular one for the variety of divisions and the Pit 3 represents the command post.
Then you will visit a workshop where you can learn the traditional techniques used 2,000 years ago to make miniature versions of Terracotta Warriors. You can have a nice talk to the craftsmen and listen to their stories about the disappearing handicraft, you even have chance to make a warrior figure by yourself and take it back home as souvenir!
You will enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant, before you head to our afternoon activities.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Ancient City Wall of Xi’an by walking or riding a bike (Optional: 7 USD for 2 hours) on it. From the top, you can enjoy views of the different areas of the city.

Xian

Day 3: Shaanxi Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagode

In the morning, you will start your trip with the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. This pagoda was built about 1,300 years ago to house the Buddhist books and statues brought back form India.
In the Shaanxi History Museum, you will see collections ranging from the times of ape men to the Qing Dynasty, and from large bronze wares to exquisite golden carvings. It is a great opportunity to gain insight into the Chinese history and culture.
Your guide and driver will bring you to the airport, you will leave Xi'an with wonderful memories. (We recommend you to leave Xi'an after 3pm).
