Jinshanling to Gubeikou Great Wall Hiking Private Tour

Your guide will meet you in your hotel lobby at 8:00 am.
It takes about 2½ hours to reach the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall where you will start your hiking tour (3 hours, 5 kilometers). First, you will mount the wall via an unrepaired watchtower called Houchuankou. From the first tower at Houchuankou onward, the unrepaired ancient watchtowers and broken sections of wall can be seen during your hike in the first hour.
This section absolutely isn't in very good condition; nonetheless, it can give you a sense of its original glory and impress you.
Stop at one of the highest points you will reach during the day, you will be able to enjoy a breath-taking view. Taking a rest in the shade of the towers is also possible.
Gradually, the restored part of the wall will come into your sight, as many watchtowers of various styles are in good condition.
Hiking along this thoughtfully restored section of the Great Wall, you will be able to feel what it is like back in the heyday of imperial China. Ultimately, we arrive at Zhuandoukou, from which we will descend the wall and head for the restaurant via a short path.
You will be transferred to your hotel in Beijing by our guide and driver at the end of the tour. Normally, it will take about 2½ hours.
